If you use Netscape as your browser you may encounter problems when using your

browser issue. When using Netscape you need to hit the
BACK button and then RELOAD in order for the page to
reappear. Otherwise you will receive a blank screen.

Our security system is set up to place a "cookie" on your computer that identifies you, matches you with the information you supplied in your career profile and allows you access to the Job Seekers Resource area. This security feature further insures that only you have permission to view/edit/delete your career profile and personal job searches. Please see question #8 for different ways to set "cookies" on your Internet browser.
Javascript is used in our pull down menus on our

on your internet browser you will not see all the
pull down menu selections on some of the required

Some Web sites store information in a small text file, called a "cookie," on your hard disk. Cookies contain information about you and your preferences. For example, your career profile and personal job search criteria.
Only the information that you provide, or the choices you make while visiting a Web site, can be stored in a cookie. For example, the site cannot determine your e-mail name unless you choose to type it. Allowing a Web site to create a cookie does not give that or any other site access to the rest of your computer, and only the site that created the cookie can read it. In order to use the "nbn-jobs.com" web site you must have cookies enabled.
With Internet Explorer 5.0 you can specify that you be prompted before a site puts a cookie on your hard disk, so you can choose to allow or disallow the cookie. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, choose Internet Options. Click the Security tab (choose Internet and Custom Level) and scroll down Security Settings to "Cookies". Choose either "Enable" or "Prompt" depending upon your preference.
With Netscape 6.2 from the Edit menu, choose Preferences. Click the Privacy & Security category and select Cookies. Choose either "Enable all cookies". If you want to be notified when Communicator accepts a cookie, check "Warn me before storing a cookie."
Please see the Help Section of your particular browser for further information on cookies and how to set them up.

you begin to search jobs. There is a section in the
profile that asks for you to copy and paste your resume
into a large text box. Open your resume in your word
processor. Please make sure that your resume has been
saved as a ".doc" or ".txt" format. Choose "Select All"
from the Edit pull down. This will highlight all of
the text in your resume. Then choose "Copy" from the

highlighted. Go back to the on-line registration form

from the Edit pull down. This should copy and paste
your resume into the text box. Consult your word processing
