Job 9208: DIRECTOR OF MARKETING (Banking Industry)

Location:
Southeast (AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC & TN)
Salary Range: 175,000.
Bonus & Incentives:
Position Responsibilities: Develop objectives, policies and programs for sales and marketing activities. Plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of sales and marketing personnel toward the accomplishment of company, department, and individual objectives.

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the sales and marketing functions. Develop, recommend, and implement corporate and department strategies to ensure compliance, cohesion, and the success of sales and marketing activities. Forecast, develop, and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives. Drive and direct; formulation and implementation of sales and marketing tactics to stimulate sales in existing and new market segments. Provide overall leadership and direction for product marketing and development through a thorough understanding of the customer and competitors. Drive key business decisions and strategies using both internal customer data and external market research. Generate profitable growth by identifying market opportunities, understand competitive actions and market trends. Oversee the implementation of an integrated communications strategy. Ensure image is maintained throughout products, promotional materials, and events. Develop and manage sales and marketing operating budgets. Develop product packaging and pricing to highest possible long-term market share. Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities to meet changing market. Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly. Maintain relationships with industry and key strategic partners. Maintain industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance. Ensure control of sales and marketing to achieve desired results within budget. Prepare sales and marketing activity reports, and present to executive management. Directly supervise Sales and Marketing departments. Provide training, appropriate staffing, fiscal budgeting including conducting employee performance reviews and handle personnel issues.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. 10+ years BANKING experience managing business development, retail banking, marketing and/or sales functions. Master’s degree is preferred with a proven record of product evaluation, branding, and staging. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with board members, executive management, vendors, and other internal and external contacts. Clearly communicate and coordinate initiatives for multiple departments. Ability to travel, hold valid drivers license, and proof insurance.
